Hi Birger, I just Emailed you directly but wanted to sign your guest book as well. Congrats on a wonderful job done on your website, it´s fantastic. My kids loved learning about "The Coach".Especially since my oldest son eats, breaths, plays and sleeps football. This is the first time that I have been to this website and I think it is great and is a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. I am 26 years old and not too many people my age know who he is unless they are a football fan. So I think that it is great to carry on the stories and traditions of Knute Rockne so that more people can read them and his memory can carry on even longer in many more hearts. He is also my great-grandfather. He is my father´s, mother´s father (Mary Jeanne Kochendorfer)

A note on the Four Horsemen - they were first in the backfield together against Carnegie Tech in 1922 and their last time together on the football field under Rockne was in 1930 - a game played in New York between the Notre Dame All Stars and the New York Giants to benefit the Mayor´s Unemployment Fund.
